Duane Library, Fordham University
Duane Library is a collegiate gothic style structure built in 1925 that had water infiltration issues throughout its history. VBA completed a survey of the building’s material systems and investigated the possible causes for the building’s failures. Extensive surveys of the building’s roof and masonry walls, as well as moisture monitoring were performed over several months. Fordham University commissioned VBA to produce construction documents and perform construction administration for the roof and masonry repairs.
